My husband keeps on mumbling under his breath some assmebly required. Some assenbly required is okay but when you have ten different things to do in three hours before Santa arrives it can get pretty stressful. Luckily we had some great coffee and some home made snacks before we started the projects.

Sometimes Christmas shopping can be very hectic even if you're online shopping. I had a great experience shopping online but when FedEx showed up at the door with my packages one of the packages was completely destroyed. The driver handed it to me as if I was going to take it. I said no ship it back. But now I have to wait for the shipper to credit my account before I can buy another one and it maybe too late to get it before Christmas.

I was one envelope short the other day doing the bills so I used an envelope that had the clear window in it. I put the address above the clear window, five days later I received a call that my payment had not shown up. After calling the post office they said that being there was no address in the clear window their machines won't read an address above and now my check is lost in the mail forever.
We've gone on some beautiful trips over the years with the large group that I belong to. The pictures that I've took of the beautiful places that I've been are priceless. All my pictures have been saved on CD's. I thought I would share them with the group this year for Christmas but this year a lot of them can't make it. I got together with one of my friends in the group and decided to go with wholesale cd mailers. The artwork on the case is my friends own original. It's beautiful.
Its fun these days to figure out how you can save some more money. The first thing is by looking at the more expensive foods on your grocery list. By watching the sales at different stores it's usually the meat that cost you the most for the family. If you have a bigger freezer you can save more money by buying in quantity which by buying a quantity can save you 50 to 60 a pound on your purchases. Also if you can handle depending on your family size instead of ordering that pizza for Friday night pick out a couple pieces at you grocery store these easily saves you 15 dollars on one purchase.

I was so happy this morning to get my husband off the couch to go to the mall. I had so see what this Black Friday sale was all about. I didn't really see any deals that were that fantastic. A lot of the stores had brought in a lot of cheap stuff and that's all it is is cheap stuff. The best deal of the day was at Victoria's Secret and the place was packed. If you bought 70 dollars worth of stuff you received a nice travel back.

My husband is designing out to build a new entertainment center that will hold at least two thousand pounds of water weight glass and the coral that will be in two separate aquarium side by side on one shelf. The shelf itself that holds its weight will be an inch and a half plywood re-enforced with angle iron. He shopped at many different places to come up with for some of these screws that would be perfect for this situation.
All these years we been running on well water and our water pressure has been low. My husband finally hooked into the city water and what a difference in the pressure. So nice when we go to fill up the tub. I can actually wash the clothes and do the dishes at the same time without a worry of water pressure.

We have tried so many different times to help my brother in law with his alcohol addiction. Sometimes he would go for months without a problem but as he said stress drives him to it. My husband can relate somewhat because of his nicotine addiction. Coming down from any drug can make you a total wreck. To have a supervise trained person that knows what you're going through is the best thing to have. Sometimes being away from your family that you love so much can save that love as you're in detox. As in for hydrocodone addiction I heard that it can be the toughest thing to stop.
Time to go for a drive up North the Autumn leaves are in full bloom. Just to go for a nice ride eases the mind of the everyday grind at work. The last time we ended up in Red Field. They have a beautiful reservoir with wrap around wooded scenery. I must have took twenty four pictures of the surrounding woods.

A friend of mine that had recently started college called me up panicking that someone had stoled her identity. The first thing I thought of was how secure her computer is. She hadn't been using it for long and she said some things popped up on the screen that she ignored. That was her big mistake. Today she's a lot better off with her ESET antivirus and with some instructions on how not to avoid warnings that are on her screen, it reminded me of when my PC was first attacked many years ago.
The way my house was designed it is a split level. In the cold New York weather it keeps out all that winter wind that can hit it. With the smaller windows though I can't see whose pulling in the driveway until they're knocking on the door. So last week I stopped at Harbor Freight and picked up a wireless driveway sensor. If anybody pulls in it sets off a tone to make me aware of the people first.

This winter we may be going to Florida for an extended stay visiting our friends. They live in the city that is so congested its easier to get around with the motorcycle or a moped. I talked to my girlfriend there and asked her to find out where there are cheap mopeds for sale. My husband said while he was working this would be the cheapest and the easiest way of getting around. I asked him how am I going grocery shopping on a moped.
It seems like summer just started and Labor day is now next week. Two days later Labor day my little guy goes back to school. Considering he loves school that's a good thing but with my work it seems like I miss him even more. Hopefully this last weekend before school starts we can go back to the water park at least for one day.

My friend at work Debbie is funny sometimes and sometimes I just can't understand her. But anyhow we kept on telling her she needs a hobby or something just to keep her busy when she's not at work. About a month ago she told us that she always wanted to play the banjo. I have to admit I don't have any friends that play the banjo. She already plays the guitar very well. So I told her about deering goodtime at musicians friend. It took her less than a half an hour to have it on its way from the site.
Don't you wish that every week was a four day week and a three day weekend? The two day weekend comes and goes so fast it doesn't even seem that you have enough time to do everything that you have to do I wouldn't even care if we did four days each day ten hours as long as I could have an extra day for the weekend.
The fish was so delicious today for my lunch. We had to stop at my daughter in law's house this morning to feed their cat while they were out of town. Down behind their house they have a creek that's loaded with small pan fish so my husband and our son and myself went down there with our poles and caught six delicious fish for our lunch. Nice to know food is available in nature if you need it.

My sister in law moved to Georgia with her husband. As far as we knew they were doing good with their small business. They never let on to us that anything was wrong. Years ago my husband had to go bankrupt after a bad divorce with his ex. He learned a lot of law over his experience. So I think that's why his sister called him. One of the first things my husband told her is that the bankruptcy laws in ga can be a lot different than the state of New York. She should seek legal advice to better know the laws of Georgia.
Again this year it was a great time at the fireworks party in Brewerton NY. It had been raining earlier so we were worried that they might cancel the fireworks. A few years back they had to. As it came closer to the time to set up the fireworks the clouds cleared the temperature was extremely balmy and the fireworks went off with the bang.

I love it so much when after supper my little guy comes over looks up at me and gives me a big hug. I can see it in his eyes that he is so tired and he just wants his mommy. All day long he's been hanging out with daddy and he needs his mommy now to kiss him and tuck him in to bed.

Every other Tuesday of the month my husband goes over to his nephews house to play pool. A couple years ago the basement of the house was unfinished but since every body pitched in to finish it they have been playing pool. I stopped in there to bring my husband the credito cigars that I picked up at the post office. About a week ago he had ordered them and forgot to tell me.
We had such a nice time going to the American side of Niagara Falls a few weeks ago. Spending the day there was like a mini vacation for us. Between the Maid of the Mist, the museums and then a few hours at the aquarium it was very special. Ending the whole day we went to the hard rock café to find out that they had the most delicious food that we've never ran into.

I remember years ago when I got my first computer I think I was scared to even turn it on. After browsing and wasting money for different programs to build my own website at home I ran into how to make a free website. Over the last few years things really come along ways focusing on simplicity and dealing with people that aren't that website literate is what they did and I am glad that they did it.
We are so proud of our son playing the wood cutter in the play at his school. It was his first play "Little Red Riding Hood" He was one of four main characters. Even though it didn't last long it is the greatest thing that we had ever seen. Very happy for you son!

After moving my mother in law into her new house with all the new things it seem stuffy. We opened a few windows to get some fresh air. The next morning I came over and gave her my whole house hepa filter system to use for awhile. The dust in the air was very clear as the sun came through the kitchen window. The filter took control and with in a few days everything was fine.
I don't know how my husband did it. He has finally got the aquarium going perfectly. The water is crystal clear. It looks so 3D. One thing you know is the fish are loving it. Theyr'e so busy swimming around like they are having fun all day. I can't believe how fast they're growing. Soon we will need a bigger aquarium.

My husband used to be a district foreman of a large multiple apartment complexes. Some of the daily needs and problems that arose on the emergency pager can be ridiculous. In the winter time at least every other night in the middle of the night there were multiple calls of no heat emergencies. The owner of the complex always tried to save money by not repairing things properly. At one point a hand retractable plungers solved a lot of the problems when installed of course as needed per unit for the owner.
Adding an extra fish to a salt water aquarium can be tricky specially for the fish. If he is a strong survivor as in bigger or with good survival tactics he may survive. But on the other hand if he isn't he may get killed and eaten. Bad way to die. http://youtu.be/cIj90Lryp5w
My husband had a good run at his small business years ago. Starting as a young man he created his own insulation business. The insulation business evolved to other things over the years including sidings, windows, and door installs. The warehouse along with the huge work trucks were full of wall cabinets. Some of them were specially designed to hold the chemicals that they used for cleaning the insulation machine.
Spring come spring goes. I can't believe that after a lot of the flowers came up we had a frost and went down in the 20's. The short lived warmer weather was very enjoyable to get outside with the kids. We are hoping that it will return. Cross our fingers.

I wish we could tell a month ahead of time what the weather was going to bring. I'm not sure if we want to buy more wood for the wood stove. Its a lot cheaper to burn wood than it is to turn up our furnace for gas. To have it delivered you must buy a minimal of four cord and we don't want that much hanging around here all summer long waiting for the next cold season to get here.

My husband has been working on salt water aquarium. He has found out that it is very time consuming and also a very costly project. When setting up a salt water aquarium you get very anxious to put fish in too soon. It can be your biggest mistake ever. If they aren't very hardy fish they probably won't survive if the aquarium isn't established yet.

We are thinking about switching the living room around a bit. Its been about three years and I'm getting bored with it. Where the TV is now its on a low stand so you can't use the reclining and be comfortable on viewing the TV from this position. So a new tv stand with mount is the first step to our project. Hopefully I can talked my husband into replacing the rug at the same time.
On our many yard sale searches a couple of years ago we stumbled acrossed the deluxe set of Lincoln logs. My husband said it was nice to find those for our little boy to have something just like his dad did growing up. Our little guy may not play with them everyday but a couple of times a month he likes dumping the box out and building a log cabin or two.
When work was slow in the early eighties my husband took his work truck and his two lead guys and took off for North Carolina. A lot of times over the years my husband has had to go where the work is for a carpenter. Before he started work he sought the assistance of a business lawyer raleigh nc. Its always good to make sure everything is legal. In my husband's case incorporating was the best thing to do and the best way to do it was to seek professional help.

My husband finally got our 46 gallon aquarium up and running with our new salt water fish. It's so exciting. The aquarium is so HD. The fish are so bright and colorful. We've gone as far as to name everybody in there that way if there is any trouble at least we all know which one we are talking about.

It seems like years ago we had bought a new washer and dryer. They were so dependable. We sold them still working after fifteen years. They were getting old looking. I just wanted to update to something nicer looking. It was less than two years and I had to call for appliance service. Apparently my son's small sock somehow lodged its way up under the agitator on the washing machine causing it to break.
I thought that we would get through the winter with our 8 cords of wood. Burning the wood in our wood stove saves lots of money when it comes to gas for our furnace. Fifty dollars worth of wood heat is like one hundred dollars worth of gas heat the way way that we figured it. Hopefully we figured right.

Going through the old toy box is so much fun to see what toys are still working. We ran acrossed Pikachu from ten years ago. Pikachu is a short, chubby, rodent-like Pokémon with yellow fur all over its body. After installing new batteries it started working like it was brand new. Reliving the times that the toys were given was the best.
My husband being a contractor sometimes has to go out of state for some special projects. His latest journey took him to a huge old castle home outside of Richmond. His job and his crew were to set up over three hundred sets of scaffolding. At some points four storeys tall. The main contractor on this job were re-mortaring all the stone on the castle. One of the other companies were doing the window replacement from richmond windows. Usually you see white or brown windows. These window frames were an off gray color.

Spongebob... That's all my little one seems to be interested on T.V. at this moment. I wish he would watch more Boomerang cartoons like I grew up with specially Johny Quest.

My next door neighbour and I over supper the other day were discussing our retirements. He had been working through a millwrights union for twenty years. His hard work shows on him as in he looks a lot older than he really is. Most of my retirement is tied up in real estate. And with the economy so down I hope someday that the real estate market will recover. Luckily I have my job also. After agreeing with martin hanaka with my great attitude I say I am officially vested into the program.
Well the snow came as promised almost 18 inches overnight. It looked light and fluffy to begin with but my husband went to snow blow it and discovered it was medium damp and pretty heavy. The small snow blower that we had doesn't do a great job. My husband spent three hours snow blowing and then snow blowing again. Hopefully the new storm coming in tonight won't be as much.

We may have a small business but different location. It made it so much easier eventually when we were link together as a network. Searching the Internet we found so many different antivirus protection programs that it was hard to figure out what was actually the better program. They basically all said the same until we ran into ESET Endpoint Security information. The knowledge that we gain about their product helped us make our final decision.
Poor little guy first my six year old walking across the living room tripped over his own sock. So he got a knee burn that needed mommy's medical attention. Next he went into the bathroom as he was opening the door on his way out he backed into a stand which poked him in the hip area. After that he tried sitting on a big ball in the living room rolled off from that and hit his elbow on the floor register which needed more of mommy's kisses and hugs. Also, we asked him for the rest of the night to stay on the couch. Why risk it.

Years ago my husband went to an auction. He bought a lot of solid oak cabinet faces. The plan was someday turn our garage into an apartment. He finally got around to it last year with some help from his buddies to at least hang the sheet rock. As he was building the cabinets he had so many solid fronts that he ripped them down and used them for the box that makes the drawers. Full extension drawer slides with ball bearings made the heavier solid oak drawers glide like they were on ice.
Our dog is always been particular on what kind of food she likes. She is a Shih Tzu poodle. The unfortunate thing is that her food is very expensive. Luckily she doesn't eat much. The other day we were at tractor supply company buying a trailer hitch and I noticed one of the dog foods there the ingredients were the same as the food that she already has but about half the price. We picked up the small bag for her to try it and she gobble it up. So now we know what brand to get her all the time.

Four days after Christmas we were over in Fulton visiting some friends our rental unit back at our house the girl there called saying there was no water. My husband instructed her on where to unplug the power to the pump. She unplug it. We left our friends house in Fulton twenty minutes later we got home my husband went to the room where the power to the pump is to discover that she had plugged it back in hoping that she would get water. He asked her why she says to my husband " I DON"T KNOW"!. My husband blew up knowing that if the power was running this long with no water the pump would surely be half melted down at the well. Sure enough he went there and the pump was smoking, steaming. He removed the pump and went to get a new one to install. After installing the new one and trying to pump water it just wouldn't pump right. He went to the apartment to find out that the girl had the hot and cold of the tub and the bathroom sink and the kitchen sink wide open thinking she was going to get water from a pump that just lost its prime because of a leak in the line close to the pump. If she would have left it unplug there was a chance that it might have survived. But it cost us 240 dollars plus four hours of time to take care of it. Needless to say the end of the story is how much of a DUMB person can these people be. My husband the very next day gave them a 30 day eviction notice. He can't stand to think if we weren't home what people could do with their stupidity.
