When I was young there was eat what was on your plate or go without. There wasn't anything called snacks in the house unless mom made a desert. Once in a while my mom would make chocolate chip cookies. Luckily I was usually the first one home from school to get the first pick of those delicious cookies. These days with my son it just seems that there are too many snacks in the house. We keep a lot of fruit on hand but he still craves for his squeezed tube yogurt. When it comes to supper we have to enforce the rules of eating what's on his plate. Most of the time he is very particular but at least he likes all sorts of vegetables.
